The pedestrianization project of Dijon street is part of the urban green space interventions and the development of active mobility initiated by the borough, as part of a green corridor revitalization project in the East of Montreal North.
An active and user-friendly living environment
The 11 structures that make up the Dijon street project, through which street furniture is incorporated, are functional and playful spaces that take into account the requests made by citizens during public consultations following the temporary installations that took place during the summers of 2016 through 2018.
Offer maximum usage possibilities in a small space
Relaxation, social activities, sport training. The appropriation of this public space by citizens is done by creating a linear space that answers to the different needs of the population.
