The signage system is inspired by the emotions felt by the artists and their audience when immerged in a show. On top of having to respect the characteristics of the location, our solution had to, above all else, be functional, encompass the whole area, and be adaptable to future changes of the site.

Challenge

To unite in diversity, to highlight the sense of belonging

The focus of this project was to offer cohesive signage tools all throughout the site that reflect the brand image of Place des Arts, while also speaking to the multitude of different users passing through the place daily. A strategy to unify the graphic language of the site was established through the integration of some of the architectural concept details.
